Julie Brown is the owner and director of Best Friend’s Early Learning Center, where she has built a nurturing, multilingual community grounded in love, respect, and inclusion. With years of experience in early childhood education, Julie’s vision has always been to create a school where every child feels seen, heard, and valued — a place that celebrates language, culture, and connection as powerful tools for learning.


Her approach is inspired by Paulo Freire’s belief that education is co-created through dialogue and mutual respect. Under her leadership, Best Friend’s embraces English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole, reflecting the rich diversity of the families it serves. Julie works closely with teachers and parents alike to ensure each child grows with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
